Jessica Llano was born in Buenos Aires, and currently resides in Barcelona.

She trained in ballet, contemporary dance, music, the Lecocq Method and choreographic composition at the Instituto Superior de Arte (I.S.A) of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, at the Dance Studio of the Teatro San Martín in Buenos Aires, Argentina and at the Escuela Nacional of Art of Havana (E.N.A) as a scholarship holder, among others. Within her training, she also includes the Alfredo Gurquel Method of elongation based on biomechanics, yoga, Feldenkrais Method, tai chi, chi kung, dance and percussion, among others.

She has developed her work as a dancer and occasionally as a creator in various companies and projects in Buenos Aires, Havana, Athens and Barcelona.

From 1992 to the present, she develops her pedagogical work in Barcelona.
